Loooove it sooo much when my past bride and groom still keep in touch with me and share their best news ever---that they are going to be parents!!! :) I love Erica and Kyle, and it is always a treat photographing them! You may remember their Christmas session with me along with their furbabies last Fall :) Well, Erica and Kyle are expecting, and I was beyond ecstatic for them! I'm honored that they had shared their sweet news to me, and I got to photograph their baby announcement. They shared their photos when Erica is about 12 weeks pregnant, and yay, I'm happy to finally share their good news on my blog also! Love this sweet couple, and I just know that they are going to be amazing parents!! Now I can't wait to find out if they are having a girl or a boy. I might just be a bit biased, but I am rooting for Team Blue! It seems like 2016 is the year for baby boys ;)
It was my first time meeting this happy family at their photo session, and I am glad it worked out that I got to photograph them while many of them were in town for the holidays :) Kelley who lives in Hawaii with her family of four (their two little boys are super adorable by the way!!) connected with me to photograph their family photos while they visit her husband's parents in Orange Park, Florida. Other family members were in town visiting the parents as well, so this would be the best time for family portraits!
We originally planned for a different date, but they had to change it due to a schedule conflict. I am glad I was still available for the other date, but I also felt bad that it happened to be the ONLY day that week that the weather was cold, wet and windy! We also had to change our location and ended up using the porch at Buckland House in Riverside so they can stay dry from the rain, and block the piercing cold wind. This family is amazing for braving the harsh element and still had a great time at their photo-shoot!! They are all troopers in my book, and I hope I get to meet them again and maybe take their family photos once more in the "Sunshine State!" :)
It was love at first sight for Evan and Alisan, and I can just see it in their eyes on how much they love and care for each other! I had a wonderful time fun taking their engagement photos at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, and they are both troopers for waking up super early in the morning so we can get to the park as soon as they opened :) They also rock for braving the chilly windy weather, but their love for each other is truly heartwarming!
They are both photogenic, and Alisan knows how to work it in front of the camera :) Her sweet smile can light up a whole room! The way Evan lovingly holds her hand is super romantic. I love this couple, and I am so excited to photograph their Fall wedding at Bowing Oaks Plantation :) Be sure to check out their slideshow for more photos from their engagement session!
