Win a $30 Apple iTunes Gift Card!

Get ready, it's time for another name-a-song contest in the blog again!! :) I had so much fun with the last contest back in May, where you had to name a song with the word "rain" in it.

Okay, this time, I'm looking for a love song or whatever song you will dance to as husband and wife! How about songs to the father-and-bride dance and to the mother-and-groom dance? If you're already married, tell me what songs you used at your reception.

A lot of my brides are always asking for song suggestions, and I figured I'll ask you guys and turn this into a fun game!

Here's the skinny on the contest:

1. Enter as many times by Thursday, 9/3/09, 12 AM EST--the more you do, the more chances you will win :)

2. Must post the song title and the music artist.

3. You will have to post the songs in my blog. The ones in Facebook or Twitter won't count. This will help me tremendously when it's time to collect all songs in one spot.

4. The winner will be chosen randomly based on how many comments I will receive in this blog entry, and again, if you have a couple of songs in mind, post them separately--more chances to win!!

5. Be sure to check back on Thursday, 9/3/09 for the name of the winner. If you're the lucky one, please make sure I have a way to contact you and email you the iTunes gift certificate :)

Good luck!!

Rockin' the Photobooth!

Bobby and I had so much fun at Liz and Eamonn's wedding last weekend in Boston area. We always make sure to get our picture taken at the photobooth if there's one at the reception. Here's a picture below of what started out just to be a picture of Bobby and I...and the rest of the wedding guests just filled in the booth and joined us for a fun picture. I'm glad they did because almost all of them all went to Jacksonville University! Go Dolphins and thanks guys for all the fun memories!!

Brides, if you're ever thinking of having a photobooth at your reception, go for it!! It's sooo much fun for you and your guests, and it's a guarantee that you'll have lots of awesome goofy shots :)

xoxo

Corey & JT's are Married!! - Jacksonville, FL

Corey and JT's wedding was so emotionally sweet, and I'm happy to be a part of it. I can still remember the time when I first met them for coffee and went over their wedding visions. Corey had heard of me through a couple of the girls in her bridal party, and it is so awesome that she did because I had a great time covering her big day. It took place in downtown's beautiful Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and even though I am bummed that my husband, Bobby, couldn't shoot with me on that day, I am glad that I got to work with Robert Madrid from South Florida :)

Congratulations, Corey and JT!! Here's wishing you two the best in life and an exciting adventure together :)

xoxo

Kudos to Robert for getting this angle shot :)

Robert & I had fun "playing" with our off-camera flashes for this shot :)

Angelique & Gerry are Married!! - New York, New York

We looove this couple so much, and so happy to be a part of Angelique and Gerry's beautiful wedding in the Big Apple :) Being back in the city brought back a lot of great memories for me and so happy to see familiar friendly faces again since I used to live there! I first met Angelique and a couple of her bridesmaids, Erica and Pam, back in 7th grade at Sacred Heart of Jesus School. I was only there for one year, but it was enough to create a long and lasting friendship :) Thank goodness for Facebook, we were all able to reconnect again. Angelique found out that I am a wedding photographer, and we got to meet up the last time I was there back in October for Tiffany & Danny's engagement session.

Lo and behold, Bobby and I got the honor to witness their love story and capture the big day on photos. I am truly blessed and thankful to be a part of this special time! Gerry, you're one lucky guy, and Angie, you're blessed to have a man that can salsa dance!! :)

We love you both, and thank you for having us!!

xoxo

The globe at Columbus Circle has a sentimental value to Angelique & Gerry--that's where they met for their first date!
