Happy Friday!

While I was out last night for Marla and John's wedding rehearsal at San Sebastian Winery in St. Augustine, we had some visitors stop by on our front yard. Bobby took this picture from inside our house. He took some more outside too while he fed them with bread. Lucky guy--I've never seen those geese come up to our yard before, and there's a little lake by us..but at least 10 blocks away! Hope you guys are having a great day, and I'm off to a Friday wedding today :)

Wishful Wednesday - Super Bowl!

I blogged my first "Wishful Wednesday" post last week, and I think I am going to do this every Wednesday from now on. The last one was on vacations, and this week will be on Super Bowl! Though the New York Giants team has a soft spot in my heart, I am also a big fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars! Gotta love my favorite player, Maurice Jones Drew #32!! :) With the football season getting ready to kick-off soon, and the news about Terrell Owens joining Chad Ochocinco on the Cincinnati Bengals team buzzing in the media circuits lately, I can't help but get into the football frenzy ;) Just yesterday, the Jaguars stadium has been renamed from Alltel Stadium to EverBank Stadium. Now with a new name, a couple of new good players in the roster, and a new season...here's wishing we will make it all the way to the Super Bowl this year!! :)

Jenny & Chris' Engagement Session - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Jenny and Chris are one amazing couple!! I had so much fun photo-shooting their engagement session. I usually try not to take pictures at the same spot over and over again, but when Jenny emailed me that she wanted to have the engagement session at the beach with the drift woods on the shore, of course, I can't say no :) Who knew that bringing their beach cruiser bikes and mixing bubbles in the session can be SO much fun?! I'm loving this "Beach, Bikes, and Bubbles" engagement session :)

This was my first time meeting them, but I felt like I have known Jenny for so long since we started emailing each other back in May! She is very friendly and loves to laugh a lot, and so does Chris! They are truly a perfect pair :) I know from the very start that I'm going to love this couple, and I fell in love with them even more when they told me that they're getting hitched in Las Vegas :)

They have an amazing love story, and I'm glad I got the chance to photograph Jenny and Chris at this location--which by the way, this is the same park that Chris "almost" popped the question to Jenny. After a long day from horse-back riding, he knew that she was ready to go home, and what a better place to propose than in your own element? :) Congratulations, Jenny and Chris!! Viva Las Vegas! :)

Wishful Wednesday - Vacations

Figured I'll blog my wishful travel plans here today :) With our brides and grooms going to AMAZING places for their honeymoons, and our good friends having awesome summer vacations... I decided to create a "To-Do List" for my dream vacations as well. I'm one of those people who get happy when I see things checked off from my list, and that also motivates me even more to complete the list :) So perhaps, I get to nail down and fulfill my...I mean "our" wishful vacation plans! :)

Linda & Jonatan's Fun Session - Jacksonville FL Wedding Lifestyle Photographer

I've been super anxious to post this gorgeous couple's FUN session in my blog! Linda and Jonatan are celebrating their 5-Years Anniversary in August, and they are currently on a road trip for a month all over America... so who knows when they will get to view this blog post ;) I love everything about this session, and yes, even the fact that this was done exactly at mid-day, which most photographers will tell you that it's not the best time to photo-shoot a session. It was SO hot.. there was no breeze on the beach, the sand was burning the soles of our feet, and there weren't any clouds on sight to help alleviate us from "roasting." ;)

You may remember Linda and Jonatan from a mini-session I did with them when Bobby and I were in Gothenburg, Sweden for Erika and David's wedding :) Now thinking about it, it was freezing on that day in Gothenburg. Even with gloves and jacket on, it was still pretty cold for Linda and Jonatan... yet they managed to have fun! I gotta give props to this lovely couple!! They are both amazing, funny and so easy-going :) Nothing (and not even the crazy weathers) can dampen their days nor prevent them from still looking so fabulous on photos :) It's what I call, "real love," that truly shines amongst them, and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!

We were originally going to start early that morning, but sadly, the beach was at high tide then, and of course, we won't be able to see the beautiful drift woods and trees on the shore. On a happier note, Linda was able to get her makeup done by Paulina Perez, and she looked simply stunning! Yay :)

Linda and Jonatan...wherever you guys are today, enjoy your month-long RV trip! Take lots of pictures of your adventures, and here's living vicariously through your travels :) Be safe and see ya'll again in August!!
