Important Announcement

Hi, guys :)

First of all, I would like to thank all of my wonderful clients for having me photograph their special events and family/baby photo sessions. I am working hard on trying to get all of the photos edited, slide shows made, and picture discs mailed out soon.

As many of you know, I had my LASIK surgery done last week and was off the computer for several days recovering. My awesome college intern, Cortney, is also off for the summer, and needless to say, my office workload has doubled. I greatly miss her help! I have tried to pull off two all-nighters earlier this week, and I think I must have just weakened my immune system by doing that. Most likely, burning the midnight oil is not good for my eyes also considering that the healing stages take about 3 months after the surgery.

Thank you for being patient with me, and I will be posting more pictures soon! I am very excited to showcase all these awesome weddings and family/baby shoots I have photographed in April and May!

Lastly, starting in June. I will not be doing any more Sunday photo-shoots except for the several sessions that have already been scheduled earlier this month. I will resume Sunday photo-shoots in September just in time for the “Christmas card photos."

Honestly, I miss going to church with my husband on Sunday mornings and spending quality time with him and my family in the afternoons. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, and we will be happily married for FIVE years now. Happily as in also I have gained 20 lbs since then! ;) I am determined to shed off those pounds this summer!

God has blessed me with a busy Spring wedding season, and I am truly thankful for that. I am also glad that my next wedding is not until August, and Fall is looking mighty busy already. It is time now to focus on my health, my family and first and foremost, my church life :)

Oh, and no, there will be no baby announcement! Believe me, Bobby and I get asked about that all the time ;)

Beverly and Daniel's Wedding Sneak Peeks - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

RaeAnn's Mommy & Me Photo Session - Jacksonville FL

One of my favorite sessions to photograph is a "Mommy & Me" photo-shoot :) I am so happy that one of my photo clients' mom decided to book a session with me for my client's sister, RaeAnn, and her daughter :) RaeAnn looks very familiar to me, and I am almost positive we had some classes together back in high school, but I cannot remember. Neither does she, so I may I have just seen her around in the hallway or in the school cafeteria :)

It was so hot during our photo-shoot, but I am glad it did not rain on us! RaeAnn is beautiful and so is her daughter! They both have infectious smiles that could just light up a room when they walk in :) I had so much fun photographing their "Mommy & Me" session, and I am thankful that RaeAnn's mom got them this photo session with me (thanks, Ms. Toni!) :)

Lien & Anthony's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

It was my first time meeting Lien and Anthony's children, and I instantly fell in love with them!! Their son is super sweet and such a gentleman, and their two daughters are adorable and very fun to photograph :) I am thankful that Lien had heard of me from one of my past brides, Lisa, and that she connected with me for her family's photo session :)

I am no stranger to Lien's place of work ;) She works at St. Vincent's Hospital, and it seems like I am always there for minor injuries. I can be klutzy sometimes. I am just happy that I have awesome people taking good care of me like Lien. It was great to see her again and this time not at the ER area ;)

Our photo-shoot took place on Lien's birthday, as a gift from her husband and children :) I really had a great time photographing her beautiful family, even though, it was SO hot on that day. KUDOS to all of them for braving the heat! :)

Stephanie & Jarvis' Baby Birthday - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

Always such a TREAT to photograph this handsome baby boy! Stephanie and Jarvis's baby is now officially a toddler :) I'm so happy that I got the chance to photograph their lil' man from when he was born and now to when he turned one-year-old. We did his birthday photo-shoot, and he loooooved that cake! Most babies are either shy or don't want to do anything with their cake, but not Stephanie and Jarvis' son :) He got right into it and even buried his face on the cake not once but twice! It was so cute to see him scoop the cake and try to eat it all at one time :) He's seriously one of the cutest and sweetest baby ever, and I'm going to miss photographing him. Good news, though, Stephanie and Jarvis are expecting their second child, and I hope I get to photograph this beautiful family again!! I'm crossing my fingers for a baby girl :)
