Such a pleasure to photograph Holly and Brock's newborn baby boy! He practically slept through the whole entire photo-shoot. He would cry a little if he was hungry and/or in need of a diaper change. What a sweet baby! I'm so happy that Holly and Brock contacted me to capture their son's first year on photos :) I've been waiting patiently for this little man to arrive, and it was worth the wait :) He's simply adorable like his big brother! Can't wait for their next session :)

Rebekah & Peter's Baby 1-Year Birthday Celebration - Jacksonville FL Family Photogrpaher

Such a bittersweet moment when I photograph a 1-year birthday party for my "Yearbook Session" clients! I love documenting this happy celebration for them, but it also means that it is our last photo-shoot :) I'm so happy that Rebekah and Peter had me capture their adorable baby girl's first year on photos! It is such a joy watching her grow up all throughout the year and taking pictures of her beautiful smile :) Then again, this doesn't mean that I don't get to photograph this lovely family ever again ;) I'm glad that Rebekah and Peter are planning to have another session done around the holidays!

Marla & John's Newborn Session - Jacksonville FL Baby Photographer

Congratulations to one of our past wedding couples, Marla and John!! Their baby girl is super adorable, and I'm thankful that I got the chance to photograph her last week :) Their baby practically slept the whole entire time during our session. She hardly fussed at all, thus making my photo job so much easier. It was great to see Marla and John again after not seeing them for about a year and a half now. I can tell how much they love their baby girl and how proud they are!

I'm also thankful that Marla rallied her family and friends to 'like' my Facebook page! Marla is such a sweet person, and I'm so happy that we are still friends to this day even after her wedding :)

Candice & Dustin's Baby Pinterest Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Although we just had Candice and Dustin's newborn baby session last month, we did another impromptu mini photo-shoot. Thanks to my latest social-media craze with Pinterest, I've been "pinning" a lot of pictures! I was inspired to try out this idea of taking a picture of the baby on top of the mommy's belly. Since I did Candice's maternity session, I asked her if she can let me try out this idea with her baby boy. She wore the same top from our maternity session, and she laid Baby P on her belly for the "after birth" effect. I'm also into baby's feet pictures lately, so I wanted to take more little toenail shots. Enjoy the pictures and thanks to Candice and Dustin for having me take pictures of their baby boy :)

Stephanie & Jarvis' Baby Spring Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

You may remember this handsome baby boy from my previous baby sessions with Stephanie. Jarvis is in the military and wasn't home for the other sessions, but I'm glad he's home safely now and gets to be a part of the photo sessions. Their baby boy looks so much like him, and it is always a pleasure to photograph this family! I can't get enough of their cute baby!! Baby L was all smiles until he discovered beach sand. Love how he was so curious with the sand and just wanted to play with it. I heart him, and I can't wait for our next session photo session! I just know that Stephanie will have a fashionable outfit ready for Baby L :)

I just want to point out that it's not cool to take pictures of other people that you don't know without asking for their permission--it's simply weird and creepy! This jogger stopped to take pictures of Stephanie and Jarvis' family...not just one shot, but several shots! I finally had to call Stephanie to come back towards me so the guy would stop taking pictures of them. Not cool.

Okay, it's technically not Spring yet, but the weather earlier this week was simply lovely! One of the many reasons why I love living here in Florida is that the weather is nice in January :) I had the pleasure to photograph Tiffany and Josh's baby's 3rd session. Their sweet girl can now sit up, and I can't get enough of her infectious smiles!! She's such a joy to photograph, and I cannot thank Tiffany and Josh enough for having me take pictures of their sweet girl! Our next session is going to be in May when Baby C turns 1-year-old. I'm excited that she's turning one, but I'm also sad at the same time because it will be our last photo session. On a happier note, it'll be a blast taking pictures of their baby smashing her birthday cake! :)

Joy & Ben's Photo Session - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

It looks like all my photo-shoots lately are all done in this particular park that I love so much in Switzerland, FL :) I don't mind it since that park is really a beautiful place for pictures! I'm glad that I got the chance to take some pictures of just Joy and her husband Ben during their daughter's, Crystal, maternity session :) They also brought their big Great Dane, Caesar, to the session, and it was so much fun trying to get his attention for pictures. That dog was so playful, and he loved running around the park :) Haha, it was like chasing after a toddler for pictures! I also can't get enough of the awesome lighting during our session! God truly blessed us with golden sun rays even though it was a bit chilly that morning :)

Luigi & Rani's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Love it when someone gets my portrait session package and uses it as a gift to a wonderful family! I had such a blast at Luigi and Rani's family photo session! Rani's friend, Ginny, contacted me right before the holidays and asked for my portrait session package. I'm glad that she connected with me because I got the pleasure of photographing Rani and Luigi's adorable little girl!! She was super active and ran everywhere during the photo-shoot. Haha, I'm glad I was able to get some shots of her since I had to run after her most of the time :) With Luigi and Rani's work, it was a challenge coordinating times, but I'm glad we were able to schedule their photo session last month. It was sunny that morning, but got so cloudy and gray in the afternoon. Crystal's Maternity Session - Jacksonville FL Maternity Photographer

December 28th was such a fun day for Crystal and I! It was my 30th Birthday, and I started the day with Crystal's maternity session :) Crystal lives in Denver but her parents live here in Jacksonville, and she was in town for the holidays. Her wonderful mother, Joy, surprised her with a maternity photo session to start the day, and I found out later that she had a surprise pre-natal massage as well as a surprise baby shower to end the day :)

Crystal was definitely glowing, and I am so happy for her and Zeke. She was full of smiles that morning even though it was a bit chilly during our session. Her parents joined in for some of the shots along with their big and adorable Great Dane!! Joy did a great job bringing the props, and I'm glad she brought the bubble toy machine gun. I love how the bubbles turned out on the photos :) I'm sure Crystal was missing Zeke, who was already back in Denver, but I think she still nailed her surprise maternity session!

Dionne & Jeff's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

I'm back from my holiday break, so get excited as I will be blogging A LOT :) Just right before Christmas, I got the chance to photograph one of my lovely wedding couple's family photo session :) Dionne and Jeff are so lucky to have one another and also to have such amazing children! Jeff's oldest son reminds me so much of teen pop-star Justin Bieber--but then again, it could just be his haircut ;) Dionne has triplets, and it's really cool how the two siblings are red-heads and then one of them is a blondie :) Each child has his/her own unique personality that separates them from each other yet forms this strong bond amongst all of them! Always such a pleasure taking pictures of this family, and I can't thank Dionne and Jeff enough for having me photograph their beautiful family :)

Jenny & Dan's Family Session - St Augustine FL Family Photographer

Thanksgiving and Christmas are probably two of my favorite holidays! It is that time of the year when families get together and enjoy each other's company, as well as get their family portraits taken :) You may remember Jenny and Dan from their SUPER fun trash-the-dress/anniversary photo session back in May of last year! They're one dynamic couple and so much fun to photograph!! I am glad that Jenny and I stayed in touch even after their photo session, so of course, I was excited when she connected with me again for a photo-shoot and this time with her family! Not just with her parents and brother, but with her grandparents, her cousin and her cousin's family of nine! :)

This holiday time of the year also means A LOT of tourists and people in Downtown St. Augustine. Traffic getting there was insane and finding a parking spot was no joke either. However, Jenny, Dan, and their whole family were SO much fun to photograph, and I really had a wonderful time working with all of them. I have never seen such well-behaved young children that were able to put up with lots of walking and about three hours of photo-session! Lots of kudos to this family :)

Loove this couple and their sweet little baby boy! Congratulations to Candice and Dustin, and I am SO happy that they had their beautiful baby right before Christmas! What a perfect gift for this sweet husband and wife! I'm stoked that Candice and Dustin had me photograph their newborn session. It was a bit cold on that day, and it was a good thing that we had a portable little heater to make sure baby stayed warm. Working with Candice and Dustin is always so much fun, and I'm excited that I get to photograph their precious baby for a whole year! We played with bubbles towards the end of her session, and I love how the light reflected on the soapy bubbles and created this wonderful bokeh for the pictures! Jennifer & Ryan's are Married!! - Saint Augustine FL Wedding Photographer

Jennifer and Ryan's love for each other is that kind of love that makes you gush and get all warm and fuzzy inside! I can see in Ryan's eyes how much he cares for Jennifer :) I adore this lovely couple, and even though it was cold, windy and rainy on their wedding day, their love is heart-warming. I am very blessed with sweet and nice brides, and I can't ask for anyone sweeter than Jennifer! She works at a make-up retail store and Jennifer got me this wonderful lip balm and lip scrub after I shared with her about my "winter lip problem" :) Little thing like that is definitely unnoticed, and that shows what a kind-hearted of person Jennifer really is. Ryan is lucky to have someone like her!

THEIR LOVE STORY:

How did you guys meet?

We met the first year of college at the University of North Florida in 2002. We were in the same English class and were placed in the same group for a class project. Ryan broke the ice by saying something random like "Fat Penguin!" I was like what and starting laughing....Sparks flew and the rest is history.

Describe the proposal:

Getting the ring was the first feat before the proposal. I had little information as to what she truly wanted for her engagement ring, although her taste for a classy/vintage style was prominent in my mind. We've been together for so long long, and she joking said if you don't propose soon I will. When I asked her about being able to afford a quality ring she also joked in saying anything will do, even a tin foil ring. I researched quality ring brands and styles and came across a ring I caught online. I knew her size because we shared the same size ring finger. As for the proposal, it was a toss up of how it was to be prepared. With little money and not a lot of travel opportunity it became best to let it be in an intimate setting with all her supportive friends. On a beautiful night four days after her birthday we ate at J. Alexanders and many of her supporting friends whom attended anticipated that the belated birthday dinner for her was the perfect opportunity for a proposal. After a heart felt dinner we opened her gifts and I was secretly saving the best for last. She was finished with her last present and begun to thank everyone, a few of her friends pointed behind her, where I was kneeling on one knee. I began telling her how long we've been together and how I would never forget the love we shared. Furthermore, I described how many creative, elaborate, and expensive proposal ideas i've had and how I decided that the best was surrounded by all those who love and supported her as I did. I asked, she said yes, I opened the ring case and inside was a tin foil ring. I placed it on her ring finger and she embraced me tightly like never before. Everyone including other dining guests joyfully cheered as she showed everyone the foil ring. Of course, I had a better substitute in which I used a promise ring with etched writing that states, "Love is patient, Love is kind." Afterward we went to her mother's house and presented the verdict. Her family smiled in approval and welcomed me to the family.

What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?

To embrace each other.

What do you love about him so much?

Ryan is truly my BEST FRIEND. I cherish that we can be totally honest with each other and trust one another. I can be myself no matter what and that he loves everything about me. Ryan has always made me feel beautiful inside and out and I am a better person with him in my life. Oh....his smile is pretty great too...it can light up a room and his optimism radiates from him always.

What do you love about her so much?

Where can I begin... her button nose, porcelain doll face, her touch, smooth skin, big bright eyes, gorgeous smile, soft flowing hair, voluptuous figure, gracious sincerity, clumsiness, genuine kindness, classiness, dignified demeanor, selflessness, attention to detail, attention to my feelings, her forgiveness, maturity, fingers, toes, talent, hard work, affect on people, I really can go on! She's my everything, my solid rock... the perfect foundation, my yin, my faith, my hope, my future.

What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?

We were going for a modern vintage look. It is folded like a greeting card and has an monogram J and R on the front. The whole invitation is an eggplant/plum color with silver writing on the inside. We picked a font script for the invitation that reminded us of "Disney" writing. It was called Jenny script and was absolutely perfect!! We ordered them through the store Impressions in San Marco.

What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?

Our wedding colors are eggplant purple, silver, and black. We chose these colors because we thought that they are very elegant and classic.

Describe your wedding cake:

Our wedding cake is a 3 tier round cake. It had a monogram Swarovski crystal "M" as the cake topper. On the top and bottom tier it had a rhinestone detail at the base of the tier and the middle layer had 3 brooches around it and emulated the belt on my wedding gown. The cake flavors were American Buttercream frosting, white cake, and the filling, chocolate ganache, marscapone cheese, and Italian rum. It was the most beautiful and wonderful tasting cake that we have ever tasted or laid our eyes on!!

Describe your wedding flowers:

For the wedding flowers, we wanted to keep with the purple theme. We wanted rich color because we were having a fall wedding. The wedding flowers turned out absolutely beautiful!! The bridesmaids carried lavender roses with accents of berries and the groomsmen and groom had a single lavender rose with a couple green berries as accents My bouquet had lavender roses, deep purple stock, liasianthus, purple hydrangeas, and orchids. We had tall and short center pieces with similar flower arrangements as our bouquets. The centerpieces were in elegant vintage like silver vases.

What is your First Dance song, Father/Daughter song, and Mother/Son song at your wedding reception?

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We are waiting to take our honeymoon at the end of May. We are flying into Barcelona and taking a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Greece, and Turkey. Neither of us have every been out of the country and we cannot wait to experience this together!

What are you looking forward to in the future together?

We are looking forward to experiencing all that life has to offer. We are a team and always will be and want to live life to the fullest. Of course, we cannot wait to start a family! But until then....we are looking forward to a long and happy life together as husband and wife!!

Kim & Clinton are Married!! - Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

I'm sooo happy to finally blog this beautiful couple's wedding!! Kim and Clinton make me fall in love with LOVE over and over again every time I look at their pictures :) They are just so perfect for each other and really, a match made in Heaven :) Both are the sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet, and their families and friends are exactly the same! Bobby and I had SO much fun at their wedding, and I can just feel the love in the air. It was freezing and windy on their wedding day, but Kim's infectious smile and Clinton's charming eyes are enough to warm each other :)

How did you guys meet?

We first met in the 11th grade in high school. We played on the basketball teams and had 2 classes together. Our initial conversations were only about basketball. During our 12th grade year, we ended up in every class together. Coincidentally, we sat next to each other, due to being seated in alphabetical order. For a class assignment we had to get to know our neighbor by finding similarities and differences and present it to the class. As you know we were neighbors!

Describe the proposal:

June 12, 2010, he asked me to marry him at one of my most favorite places to visit...The Smoky Mountains! We were at the top of the mountain overlooking the city. It was beautiful.

What is your favorite thing to do on your date night?

Dinner and movie.

What do you love about him so much?

I love his easy going personality, loyalty, and patience.

What do you love about her so much?

She has a great personality and a love for family. She supports and motivates me to succeed.

What is your wedding invitation like and where did you go to get it done?

The pocket invitations were customized by E. Street Paperie. The invitations were monogrammed with our intials on the front, with purple ribbon going down the middle.

What are your wedding colors and why did you guys choose that color palette?

Our wedding colors were purple, olive green, and cream. Purple is my favorite color and we thought the other colors would compliment it the best.

Describe your wedding cake:

The wedding cake was white with purple ribbon along with swirl details at the base of each tier. Each tier alternated between square and round, with purple calla lillies.

Describe your wedding flowers:

Purple and cream calla lilies.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We went to Cancun, Mexico for a week.

What are you looking forward to in the future together?

Traveling and having a family.

Jaqui & Raj are Engaged!! - Jacksonville FL Engagement Photographer

When it rains...well, it rains! Jacqui and Raj are getting married next month already, so therefore, we were not going to reschedule their engagement photo session even though it was pouring like cats and dogs on our session date. The day started out as sunny and warm, and then rain clouds rolled in just right before our session. Gotta love Florida's unpredictable weather!

Jacqui already had her make-up done by a professional make-up artist, and Raj got off early from his work, so there was no way we would reschedule. Therefore in this case, when it rains, we change locations for the pictures :) We stayed dry for most parts taking pictures under the overpass, but this couple were such super troopers and braved out the rain elements for their other photos. Yay for Jaqui and Raj :) I cannot wait for their wedding at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, FL. I also get to work with one of my favorite wedding vendors, Alpha and Omega Event Consultants & More!

Mr. E's Holiday Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

I had a great time taking pictures of Bridget's little man, "Mr. E!" :) His grandma, Joy, was there also to help us entertain lil' man. Mr. E was full of smiles and laughter, and I just couldn't get enough of him :) He ran around the park with his soccer ball, and I had a great time capturing his sweet smiles :) Bridget is one of my previous clients, and we always talked about having lunch and meeting her son. I'm glad that I finally got the chance to do so at our photo session! He's such a great and handsome kid!

Alex & Lori's Family Session - Saint Augustine FL Family Photographer

It was my first time meeting this wonderful family at our session, and they were SO much fun to photograph :) Alex and Lori's children are super sweet, and I just love how they interact with each other. They definitely have that wonderful brother-and-sister bond going on, and it was so much fun capturing their expressions on photographs :) I'm thankful for this family, and I'm glad we got to do our session. I think we had to reschedule our shoot a couple of times, but I'm glad we got to do it when it wasn't too cold nor crowded in downtown St. Augustine. It did get cloudy and overcast towards the end of our session, but we all still had a blast :)

Vee & Scott's Family Session - Orange Park FL Family Photographer

I first met Vee over coffee at Starbucks. She had found my Photography Facebook page online, and she had sent me this sweet email so we decided to meet up :) I had a great time getting to know her. It's wonderful that she and I share the same passion for photography :) I'm so happy when she also connected with me to take pictures of her family :)

I had a blast at our photo session, and it was fun chasing after Vee and Scott's son for pictures :) He's such an adorable little boy! It was also refreshing to photograph a family session at a new location. Vee and Scott live in Orange Park, and since we can only do the session after Scott gets home from work, we had to go somewhere near their house. I suggested Club Continental, and I'm glad they were down for it! The place is beautiful and simply perfect for this wonderful family :)

Leah & Kurt are Married!! - St Augustine FL Wedding Photographer

There's something about this couple that I just love so much. They are both super laid-back, and always seem so optimistic about everything :) I first met Leah and Kurt at Leah's brother's wedding last year at the White Room. Leah was one of Katie's bridesmaids, and Kurt was her date. It was fun getting to know Brad's side of the family, and I can just tell how much Leah and Kurt love each other. A year later, they had a beautiful intimate backyard wedding in a private residence in St. Augustine as well. The sunset was gorgeous! The weather was a bit chilly but that didn't dampen the festivities. It was a small celebration yet there were tons of little details that made this wedding picture-perfect!

One of Leah and Kurt's first date nights was at the fair, and it was pretty cool that they got to serve their guests "fair treats" from inside a food mobile :) Kurt is also in the military and got home just in time for their 11.11.11 wedding, which also happens to be Veteran's Day :)

I'm super thankful to be a part of this wonderful wedding and able to photograph Leah and Kurt's special day :) Much love and happiness to this wonderful couple!

THEIR LOVE STORY:

How did you guys meet?

We met through a mutual friend, Miriah, who is actually going to be my maid of honor. She invited some people to a get together at her house one night and Kurt and I were a few of those who were invited.

How did he propose to you?

We were at the beach area riding around in his car one night and he drove us to Dolphin Park, which is a small park on the beach with a jungle gym set, volleyballs courts and a statue of a dolphin and a diver. We climbed up on one of the jungle gym sets and talked for a bit. He pulled out the ring and proceeded to say that I was the only girl for him and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. I told him there was nothing I wanted more in life...we were super excited!

What is your favorite thing to do on date night?

On date nights, we like to go out to eat, preferably Chili's (we LOVE Chili's). We usually go out to a see a movie afterwards since Kurt is a huge movie buff.

Why do you love about him so much?

I love Kurt so much because he is so sweet to me. He treats me like a princess and cares about me so much. He is so genuinly sincere when he tells me he loves me.

What do you love about her so much?

I love Leah so much because of how much she makes me laugh and how much she appreciates me. She doesn't change me, she accepts me for who I am. She is the most sincere and generous person I know.

Where did you get your wedding invitations done?

We had our wedding invitation done at an online customized invitation warehouse. The invitation itself is a palm green color with a chocolate satin ribbon on the left hand side by our initials.

What are your wedding colors?

Our wedding colors include palm green, chocolate, linen, and copper. We chose these colors because we didn't want to pick anything too fancy; something more along the lines of the natural color palette.

What's your wedding cake look like?

We actually didn't know what our wedding cake will look like before the wedding! Kurt's step-father is a chef and baker, and he made it for us. The only thing we have requested is for it to be a black forest cake with buttercream icing. Yummm!

What are your wedding flowers?

My wedding did not have any flowers. I didn't want to do anything traditional, and I wanted to do something way different; so we did palm fronds instead. We're really excited about this!

What is your First Dance song?

We were debating whether to have a first dance or not before the wedding..we ended up not having it...we have two left feet!

Where did you guys go for your honeymoon?

We won't be going on our honeymoon until sometime next year. With me being in school and Kurt being busy at work, we don't have any time do go on a honeymoon just yet. When we do go we plan on going to the Sandals Resort in the Bahamas.

What do you both look forward to in the future?

In the future, we look forward to raising a family and cherish each other even more for the rest of our lives.

Sonja's Holiday Session - Jacksonville FL Baby Photographer

This is such a sweet mother-and-daughter session, and I'm so thankful that I got to photograph Sonja and her cute little baby girl!! Sonja's baby has the cutest eyes with the longest lashes I've ever seen :) I loved everything about this session except for the cold breeze! It was so windy, and we were all literally tearing up because of the wind hitting our eyes. However, the breeze did help give Sonja that "windy-hair supermodel look," which by the way, Sonja did rock that part very well! :) I also can't get enough of her baby girl!! She will be walking soon, and I just know Sonja will have her hands full with this cute lil' girl! :)

Corey & Jt's Holiday Session - Jacksonville FL Baby and Family Photographer

Love it when families coordinate their outfit colors for the holiday pictures! I had a great time taking pictures of Corey and Jt's beautiful family. We started our session towards the end of sunset, but it was still a lovely day for pictures :) Corey and Jt have an adorable daughter, and I can't get enough of her! I'm so happy that I still get to take pictures of this family even after their baby (make that a toddler) turned one-year-old a couple of months ago. Their daughter's smiles are infectious, and I always get so happy when I look at their pictures :) I'm thankful for Corey and Jt for having me as their "official" family photographer! Here's wishing this family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Kristen & Scott's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

When it rains, it doesn't mean that the photo session has to be cancelled. As always, I checked the weather forecast the day before any of my photo-shoots, and as for Kristen and Scott's session, it was supposed to be a clear day.... but instead, morning rain showers and grey cloudy sky greeted us. It eventually stopped raining for a bit, and the grey skies did not bother this wonderful family at all! Kristen and Scott's baby boy just kept smiling for the pictures. I love it when parents bring their own props to make the photo session unique :) Just in case anyone is wondering, NONE of those ornaments used in the pictures are glass ornaments. They were all either styrofoam or plastic, and I highly doubt those ornaments had lead on them. Baby safety is always #1, and it was SO much FUN taking pictures of their baby boy!! :)

I try to only blog one session a day, but since it's the holiday season, I can't help but blog more than just one session :) This one family is so much fun to photograph, and I'm happy to showcase their pictures here on my blog! The last time I photographed Lara and Patrick's family session was probably about 4 years ago! I'm glad the weather was lovely and sunny on the day of our session. Chris & Charlotte's Baby 1-Year Birthday Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

It had been a wonderful year getting to know Chris and Charlotte and taking pictures of their beautiful family :) It seems like it was just yesterday when I photographed Charlotte's maternity session. This couple is one of the nicest people I've ever met! I'm glad Chris' sister, Amanda, who was one of my brides last year, and his mom got them a photo package with me. I had the pleasure of documenting their baby girl's precious 1st year on photos :) Birthdays are happy times indeed, but I'm also a bit sad that this is also the last time I'll be taking pictures of their precious baby girl!

Chris and Charlotte moved to Texas over the summer, and I'm glad that we were able to do their birthday photo session when they were in Winter Haven, FL visiting Mandi and family :) I had SO much fun at this session, and I have tons of favorites that it was hard to choose my Top 15 for the blog.. so you'll get about 20 or so instead :) If I'm ever in Texas, I would definitely love to meet up with this family again and perhaps photograph this beautiful baby again!

Filipe and Mirella's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

It seems like it was just yesterday when I met Filipe and Mirella at a mutual friend's birthday party. I just knew right away that they are an awesome couple after seeing them root for the Yankees when the game was on TV! It was so nice to see dedicated Yankee fans like this couple in Jacksonville, and I enjoy hanging out with them during baseball season to watch the games :)

I remember that they had left early that night of the birthday party because Mirella just had a baby girl, and they couldn't stay out late. I can't believe that very same baby is 3-years-old now! She is muy bonita just like her parents :) I'm thankful that Filipe and Mirella told their friends to 'like' my Facebook page and won a photo-shoot with me :) I've been wanting to photograph this beautiful family for so long now, and I had so much fun at our last session!!

Rebecca and David's Holiday Session - Jacksonville FL Portrait Photographer

Besides my dog and my parents' dogs, I think Rebecca and David's Mastiff, Momo, is my other favorite dog! He is such a sweet and shy dog that you would not expect that at all from a giant dog like him. I'm so glad that Rebecca found me online under "Pet Photographer" (yeah, I don't know how my name popped up in Google for pet photography, but I think it's cool!) :) She's from the Philippines and still knows how to speak the Filipino language. Naturally, we talked for a bit in Filipino :) It was my first time meeting them at the session, but I felt like I've known them for so long! David and Rebecca are perfect for each other, and Momo is one adorable furry baby :)

Lyndsay and Anderson's Family Session - Jacksonville FL Family and Baby Photographer

Love every bit of this family! I'm so happy that I got the chance to photograph my college buddy, Lyndsay, and her beautiful family for their holiday portraits. You may remember this sweet couple from their portrait session with me a couple of years ago--pre-baby era! :) Yeah, the one with the blue couch in front of their house ;) Lyndsay is also a photographer in town, and I know their baby is used to getting his picture taken. With me having no children of our own, and Lyndsay and Anderson being first-time parents--who knew that a Daylight Savings Time could greatly affect a baby's nap and smiling face? As a kids photographer, we've got to do what we need to do to make baby content :) Haha, I got lucky that I got some pictures with him smiling, and thanks to Goldfish snacks for keeping him happy!

It was my first time meeting Lindsey at the maternity session, and it turns out that we have a lot of mutual friends :) I had a great time getting to know her and Brandon at the photo-shoot, and I'm so glad that one of our friends, Candice, told Lindsey about me in the first place :) We did our session at one of my favorite parks, and it was pretty crowded on that day. I'm glad that we got the chance to take pictures in some secluded spots :)

Looove this family! I love how Weyatta dressed up the whole family for the pictures :) It was supposed to be cold on our session day, so I know she went shopping for "winter clothes." :) It ended up being so warm on that day at the Fair, and they were all super troopers for braving the heat in their "winter outfit!" I love their Converse shoes and how they all match!! I love it when the Fair comes to Jacksonville in the Fall! It's the best time for pictures either for a trash-the-wedding-dress session, an engagement session or this time a fun family session :) I had so much fun photographing Eva, Ken and their adorable baby boy earlier this year at the Cummer Museum. Of course, I was more than ecstatic when Eva connected with me to do their holiday portraits!! Their baby boy just turned one also in November, so it was a perfect timing to get their pictures taken :) I'm seriously in love with their baby boy! Melissa and John's Holiday Photo Session - Jacksonville FL Family Photographer

Melissa and John's family is super adorable! Their son was so much fun to photograph, and even though it rained on us toward the end of the session, it was a blast working with this family :) It was my first time meeting Melissa and John at our family portrait session, and it won't be the last time I'll see them. The next time will be in Las Vegas for one of my bride's wedding in May! One of my past brides, Bre, works with John and was the one that told him about me. They happen to also work with one of my future grooms, Wayne--the one that's getting married in Vegas next May :) It really is a small world after all!
